Mayer Bros. manufactures a full line of precast tanks, used for a variety of purposes.

Residential Septic Tanks are all top-seamed and can be one or two compartment. Usually, they are non-traffic, but if they are to be near a driveway or other area that may encounter traffic, the heavy duty traffic tanks should be used. Anne Arundel County requires a two compartment tank. We recommend the two compartment tanks because studies have shown they are more efficient and protect your drain field. We also have effluent filters available as an additional protection.

Compare Our Construction: All of our tanks 1000 gallon and up are constructed with a 4" thick wall and reinforced throughout with wire mesh and rebar. Our top slabs are reinforced with #4 bar on 5"-9" centers.

Grease Interceptors are becoming increasingly popular as the restaurant industry recognizes the efficiency of large outdoor interceptors. The design of these interceptors varies by jurisdiction, with W.S.S.C. having the most comprehensive design and review process at present. For other jurisdictions we recommend our traffic-bearing, two compartment tanks outfitted with a GreaseWatch™ monitor system. These monitors save the restaurant owner and the jurisdiction time and money by continuously monitoring the condition of the tank. More information is available at www.worldstoneinc.com.

Sand/Oil, Oil/Grit Separators function essentially the same as grease interceptors. We sell the same traffic tanks, although they may be plumbed differently on the inside. We again recommend a monitoring system by World Stone, Inc. to insure the tank is maintained properly.
